Fault phenomenon

Troubleshooting ideas.
(a) Based on the customer’s fault description, it can basically be determined as an electrical fault.
(b) Analyze, via circuit diagrams, whether pins are loose, whether there are short circuits or open circuits in the 22nd long-power supply and the 29th controlled power supply.
(c) Is the CAN bus abnormal?
(d) Is there any abnormality with the No. 0 ground wire pin, short circuit in the wiring harness, or poor grounding?
(e) Display program malfunction.
(f) Display hardware issue.
(a) The customer’s fault description can basically be judged as an electrical fault.
(b) Analyze whether No. 22 long power supply and No. 29 controlled power supply have loose pins, short circuits in the wiring harness, or open circuits, using the circuit diagram.
(c) Whether the CAN line is abnormal.
(d) Whether the pin of the ground cable 0 is abnormal, the cable harness is short-circuited, or the ground is not properly grounded.
(e) Display program failure.
(f) Display hardware problems.

Troubleshooting process
(a) Since the fault is intermittent, during the test run, use a multimeter to continuously monitor lines 22, 29, and the ground line. Ensure that there are no open circuits or short circuits on the display screen when it is restarted.
(b) The CAN line resistance was checked and found to be 60 ohms; the CAN+ voltage was 2.7V, and the CAN- voltage was 2.3V, both within normal ranges. Therefore, the issue is determined to be with the display screen.
(c) Contact Huaxing’s after-sales service to check the program version number. Press key 25 to enter the information list interface, select “Service Assistant,” enter the password 31868 to access the machine configuration page, and verify that the display program version is V12215. The root cause of the issue was that this program version prevented the display from freezing when the GPI failed to detect a 4G signal; instead, the display would automatically restart. By upgrading to the latest version V1236 via EasyEye, the display will now restart seamlessly without any noticeable interruption when the GPI fails to detect a 4G signal. After updating the program, the fault has been resolved (instructions for using EasyEye are provided below).
(a) Due to the occurrence of the fault, the multimeter is required to measure the No. 22, No. 29 line and the ground line respectively online during the test, and check that the display screen has no open circuit or short circuit when restarting.
(b) Verify that the CAN line resistance is 60 ohms, the CAN+ voltage is 2.7V, and the CAN- voltage is 2.3V; if these conditions are met, the display screen is considered to be faulty.
(c) Contact Huxing’s after-sales inspection program version number, click key No. 25 to enter the information list interface, select the service assistant, enter the password 31868 to access the machine configuration page, and check the display program version V12215. The fault is that the program version causes the display to freeze when GPI cannot detect a 4G signal, resulting in the display automatically restarting. After Eyecare upgrades to the latest version V1236, the display screen no longer restarts unexpectedly when GPI fails to detect a 4G signal, and the fault is resolved once the program is updated (the usage instructions for Eyecare are as follows).


Troubleshooting summary
1. If you encounter electrical issues with the display screen or controller, first analyze the wiring harness for any problems based on the circuit diagram.
2. If the wiring harness is found to be in good condition, please locate the device information on the display and contact Huaxing Service.
3. Each service engineer should always carry an OBD scanner, a USB flash drive, and a computer, and be familiar with the use of the Yiyan app.
