STG230C-10 Grader: Abnormal Shifting During Travel
The entire shifting operation is accomplished through three components: electrical and hydraulic control, and mechanical transmission. ① Check whether the input and output signals of the electrical control system (shift lever) are normal; verify that there are no poor connections in the wiring harness or blown fuses; and confirm that each solenoid valve from M1 to M5 operates properly. ② Test whether the main pressure valve (20 bar), safety valve (11 bar), and the pressure of each clutch in the hydraulic control system reach their normal values. ③ Inspect the mechanical components—including clutch plates, transmission gears, bearings, and torque converters—to determine whether they show severe wear.
The SMG200 motor grader’s clutch fails to disengage the power, and gear-shifting results in significant shock.
1. The primary prerequisite for diagnosing this fault is determining whether the clutch has fully disengaged. By examining the magnitude of the current flowing through the transmission’s solenoid valves and verifying whether the solenoid valves are functioning properly, under normal circumstances, with the clutch pedal fully depressed, the PWM sampling value should be below 8000. For gear position F1, the current through K1 should be less than 65mA.
During the installation of the STB1600T6 crawler crane, a fault occurred in which the main boom luffing mechanism could not be lowered.
After the STB1600 was delivered to the customer and installed, the boom did not move when the engine was started, and the angle remained unchanged. All other movements (lifting, slewing, extending, and hoisting) functioned normally, with no alarms triggered.
After replacing the main controller of the SRC550H off-road crane, the display screen prompts that the machine is locked.
After replacing the main controller, the display screen prompts that the device is locked and cannot be unlocked using the unlock code. To unlock it, you’ll need to delete the files in the display screen’s background (for older devices).
SCS1000A-CC0100CF0070#Main variable amplitude lowering action is slow.
On June 26, 2025, a SCS1000A crawler crane from Singapore, with equipment number CC0100CF0070#, had been in operation for 236 hours. The crane’s main boom lifting action was normal, but its lowering action was extremely slow.
